Job Description:

YOUR TASKS

  • Good understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
  • Good understanding of thermal management techniques for LED lighting and electronics applications.
  • Familiarity with PLM tools, change management processes, and engineering documentation practices.
  • Ability to review schematic designs, PCB layouts, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Understanding of analog and digital hardware systems for Automotive LED lighting.
  • Good understanding required of DC-DC converter topology(like Buck, boost, and buck-boost).
  • Understanding of engineering analysis methods and interpreting the results to convey this information to others.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of operating HW test equipment like DMM, Oscilloscope, power analyzer, power supplies, spectrum analyzer etc.
  • Must have a good analytical approach for failure analysis.
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills to convey information efficiently and effectively.
  • Familiar with automotive components and testing standards of automotive lighting, including EMI/EMC testing,
  • Experience in simulating electronics circuits on Microcap 11.0.
  • Hands-on experience with Cadence 17.2 for schematic preparation.
  • Embedded H/W design experience for automotive applications.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of thermal simulation and power dissipation analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and DFT (Design for Testability).
  • Experience in customer interaction, technical reviews, and supplier management activities.
  • Drive technical decisions related to architecture, component selection, and risk mitigation.
  • Support cost optimization, value engineering, and product lifecycle management activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience working as a Hardware Electronics Engineer or similar role.
  • A solid understanding of electronic systems and component materials.
  • Competency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of design and electrical testing methodology.
  • Proficiency in using various tools related to electronics studies (Such as PSpice, Matlab, etc.)
  • Understanding of the safety regulations associated with electronics engineering.
  • Proficient ability in reading blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to keep up with ongoing innovations in the field.
  • Certification and licensure may be required.
