Technical Engineer – Paints & Coatings
Job Description:
To provide technical support and supervision for the application of paints and coating systems by
ensuring proper surface preparation, product application, quality compliance, and customer
satisfaction. The role also involves resolving technical issues, supporting customers during
application, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise coating application activities at customer sites.
• Provide technical guidance during surface preparation and coating application.
• Ensure coating application is carried out in accordance with product specifications and
quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of coating work and recommend corrective actions whenever
required.
• Troubleshoot application-related issues and provide effective technical solutions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, and Customers for successful project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, application records, and site visit reports.
• Demonstrate coating products and application techniques to customers whenever
required.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and safe handling of paints, coatings, and
chemicals during application.
• Support product trials, new product evaluations, and technical presentations.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers by providing timely technical
assistance.
• Travel to customer locations for application supervision, inspections, and technical support
as required.
Educational Qualification
Essential • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology, or B.Sc. Chemistry
Preferred • Diploma/B.Tech in Paint Technology or Chemical Engineering
