Production manager

Job Description:

Designation : Sr. Manager - Production 2 Schaltbau products : Contactors, Snap action Switches, Connectors and rail components like Master controllers, VCB, earthing devices etc.. 3 Application Industry : Railways ( including system manufactures), Automobiles, Renewable.. 4 Requirement: Schaltbau has range of products like master controllers, displays, driver's desk, panels etc. for rolling stock application in Rail industry . 5 Responsibility : a) Supervising production of master controllers, contactors, panels etc… b) Process engineering and Providing technical solutions in case of any failures during production. C) Preparing production plans as per production orders, issuing work orders to workers, measuring performance of workers.. d) Maintaining records of production, incoming inspection and final testing e) Training of workers . f) Maintenance of manufacturing tools & tackles, test equipments etc.. g) Maintaining and reporting KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery and efficiency h) Preparing monthly MIS for management. 6 Location: Mumbai. Should be willing to re-locate to any other part of India. 7 Qualification: BE (Mechanical) or BE( Production) 8 Experience : At least 12 years experience in Production management with focus on production techniques, process, quality, material and man management 9 Skill requirement : Strong technical base and ability to understand and analyse the situations. Strong knowledge of quality systems such as 5S, Kaizen etc. Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP etc. Strong in document management. Good inter-personal skills. Should have good knowlwdge of handling incoming inspection for raw materials. 10 Additional requirment: Presentation Skills. To organize and manage traning requiremnets on own team
