Plant Coordinator - Vizag (Vishakhapatnam)
Job Description:
Job Role:
The Plant Coordinator keeps the Visakhapatnam plant running on the ground: records, inventory, dispatches, and day-to-day coordination. It is a hands-on field role, not a desk job.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support daily plant operations — shift attendance, contract labour coordination, housekeeping and PPE compliance.
- Maintain production records, batch records, GRNs, dispatch records, and test certificates — physical and digital.
- Manage raw material and finished goods inventory registers; conduct physical verification and report variances.
- Verify incoming consignments at the weighbridge against challans; sample per SOP and escalate any deviation.
- Pull and label samples, dispatch them to testing labs or clients, and track results back into records.
- Coordinate outbound dispatches — vehicle placement, loading supervision, LR and e-way bill documentation.
- Obtain quotations for raw materials and transport; present options to your manager (rate closure stays with them).
- Maintain petty cash registers and expense vouchers; submit weekly reconciliations to Finance.
- Run plant errands across Visakhapatnam — labs, suppliers, courier and bus depots, client sites.
- Maintain gate register, weighbridge calibration records, and fixed asset register.
- Support plant-level statutory documentation — Factories Act registers, APPCB filings, labour records.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Graduate in any discipline — aptitude matters more than stream.
- 1–3 years in plant operations, warehouse coordination, or a similar field role.
- Own a motorcycle with valid DL, insurance, and PUC — required for daily official duties.
- Accurate and disciplined with paperwork. You will run registers and vouchers every single day.
- Telugu fluency required. Basic English for documentation is enough.
- Honest and straight. This role handles cash, inventory, and vendors.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fixed monthly salary plus conveyance allowance for motorcycle use.
- Salary credited by the 7th of each month.
- One weekly off; compensatory off for weekend or holiday working.
- Direct reporting to the Head of Operations — no layers, fast decisions.
Working Days and Timings: 6 days work 9-6pm for both
