Project Manager

Job Description:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects within scope, time, and budget. The role requires leadership, financial control,

technical expertise, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.

• Lead and manage project teams and labor contractors.

• Ensure timely vendor/contractor invoice bookings.

• Monitor project performance using cost and schedule tracking tools.

• Apply Earned Value Management (CPI, SPI, BAC, EAC, ETC, VAC).

• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Maintain strong customer and consultant relationships.

• Ensure quality compliance with HVAC and MEP standards.

• Drive process improvements and proactive problem-solving.

• Ensure proper project documentation and closure.

Technical & Functional Requirements

• Hands-on experience in MEP projects.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Minimum 5 years experience in Data Centre projects.

• Experience in Liquid Cooled Data Centres (added advantage).

• Construction experience of 5+ years (mandatory).

• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.

• Familiarity with building codes and energy efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.

• PMP Certification (added advantage).

• Total Experience: 10+ years.

Work Environment

• Field-based role with frequent site visits across India.

• Willingness to camp at project sites as required.

• Work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces.
