Product Manager – Financial Products / FinTech

Job Description:

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with strong exposure to financial products and FinTech platforms. The candidate should be able to understand financial products from both a business and technology perspective and act as the key bridge between management/business teams and technology partners.

Key Requirements
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant product-management experience, preferably in FinTech, banking, broking, wealth management, investment platforms, insurance or other financial-services businesses.
• Strong understanding of financial products, investment products and digital financial-service platforms.
• Candidates with experience in broking, wealth management, mutual funds, investments, insurance, loans, financial planning or related products will be preferred.
• Should have experience managing the complete product lifecycle, including:
o Product conceptualisation
o Requirement gathering
o Product strategy
o User journeys and workflows
o Product documentation
o Feature prioritisation
o Product roadmap
o Development coordination
o Testing and UAT
o Product launch
o Post-launch monitoring and improvements
• Must be experienced in preparing detailed BRDs, PRDs, user stories, functional requirements and product workflows.
• Should be capable of translating business requirements into clear technical requirements for developers and technology partners.
• Strong experience coordinating with external technology partners, developers, UI/UX teams, QA teams and internal stakeholders.
• Should be capable of monitoring technology-partner deliverables, timelines, dependencies and quality.
• Strong understanding of API integrations, third-party integrations, mobile/web applications, dashboards and financial data flows.
• Should understand the importance of data security, user privacy, KYC/AML, regulatory requirements and compliance considerations while designing financial products.
• Experience working with regulated financial entities or products will be a strong advantage.
• Should have strong analytical skills and the ability to use customer feedback, product data and business metrics to improve products.
• Must have excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Should be comfortable interacting directly with senior management and technology partners and taking ownership of product outcomes.

Key Expectation
The Product Manager should act as the bridge between the business, financial products and technology teams, ensuring that the product is commercially viable, technically feasible, user-friendly and aligned with applicable financial-services requirements.
