Qualification
Essential:
MBA (Finance)/CA-Inter
Desired:
MBA Finance/CA -Inter, Certification in Accounting, Taxation, ERP, or Financial Management.
Experience
Essential:
8–12 years of experience in Sales Accounting, Commercial Accounting, and Revenue Accounting.
Minimum 7–8 years of experience in a team handling or leadership role.
Experience managing Sales accounting operations across multiple regions (North & West preferred).
Strong exposure to customer reconciliation, receivables management, debit/credit notes, sales accounting, MIS reporting, and commercial controls.
Experience working with ERP systems.
Desired:
Experience in Manufacturing, Metals, Automotive, or Industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of commercial processes, and financial controls.
Job Profile
·Lead and manage Sales accounting operations.
·Ensure accurate and timely accounting of sales transactions, revenue recognition, debit notes, credit notes, and customer adjustments.
·Review and monitor customer ledger reconciliations and ensure timely closure of discrepancies.
·Drive receivables monitoring and coordinate with Sales, Commercial, and Finance teams for collection efficiency.
·Prepare and review region-wise Sales MIS, profitability reports, aging analysis, and management dashboards.
·Establish strong accounting controls and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
·Coordinate with business teams, plants, finance teams, and auditors for seamless accounting operations.
·Monitor month-end and year-end closing activities related to sales accounting.
·Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
·Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives within sales accounting processes.
·Lead, mentor, and develop the sales accounting team to ensure operational excellence.
