Senior Accounts Executive

Job Description:

Role Summary

Manage day-to-day company accounting and personal accounts of management, including preparation of financial records, statements, and reports. The role includes internal audits, monitoring payables, receivables, expenses, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, supporting financial analysis for management, and assisting in Zoho system implementation if required.

KRA: Task / Activities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Perform bank, ledger and account reconciliations.
• Manage company and personal accounting transactions.
• Conduct regular internal checks and audits.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.
• Prepare MIS and financial reports for management review.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.

KPI: Performance Metrics

• Accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Timely completion of monthly accounting activities.
• Accuracy of reconciliations and financial reports.
• Effectiveness of internal audit and control processes.
• Timely identification and resolution of discrepancies.
• Compliance with statutory and internal accounting requirements.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience in internal audit and financial controls.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory accounting requirements.
• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Preferred skills

• Experience handling both company and personal accounts.
• Exposure to Tally and Zoho Books / Zoho Finance or willingness to learn Zoho.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
