Job Description:
A General Manager (GM) oversees daily business operations, guides overall strategy, and manages profit and loss (P&L) performance across multiple departments.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team, optimize operational workflows, and drive long-term business growth. You will bridge the gap between executive goals and day-to-day execution, managing departmental budgets, team performance, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily business functions to ensure high productivity, quality control, and smooth departmental coordination.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with executive leadership to set performance goals, implement growth plans, and track key milestones.
- Financial Management: Oversee annual budgets, monitor expenses, analyze financial statements, and maintain profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
- Team Leadership: Supervise recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and professional development across all staff levels.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks, upgrade internal systems, and enforce safety and labor compliance.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Proven track record (5+ years) in a senior managerial or operational leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Core Competencies: Strong financial acumen (P&L management), leadership capabilities, strategic planning, and problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, delegation, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
