Junior Accountant ( Real Estate Insustry)

Job Description:

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with good practical knowledge of accounting and computer operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining records, and supporting the Accounts team.

KRA: Task / Activities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and transactions.
• Maintain invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other accounting records.
• Maintain and update customer, vendor, and general ledgers.
• Handle basic Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Record cash and bank transactions and prepare basic BRS.
• Record vendor bills, expenses, payments, and receipts.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing.
• Assist with basic GST and TDS-related accounting activities.
• Support the Accounts team with routine accounting and reporting requirements.

KPI: Performance Metrics

• Accuracy and timely completion of accounting entries.
• Proper maintenance and updating of ledgers.
• Timely recording of invoices, bills, receipts, and payments.
• Regular reconciliation of bank and ledger accounts.
• Proper maintenance of accounting documents and records.

Required Skills

• Good practical knowledge of accounting principles.
• Hands-on knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
• Good computer operation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good numerical and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred skills

• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Experience in Real Estate / Construction accounting.
