Job Description:
- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Associate's degree or coursework in business administration, human resources, finance, or accounting.
- Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) can improve job prospects.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and time-tracking systems like Kronos, ADP, or SAP.
- Attention to Detail: High precision in recording work hours, tracking overtime, and preventing payroll discrepancies.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding labor laws, regulations, and company attendance policies.
- Communication: Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and resolve scheduling or pay inquiries professionally.
