Job Description – Jr. Executive – Factory HR & Admin

Department: HR & Admin

Location: Ambernath (Manufacturing Plant)

Experience: 2–5 Years (Preferably from a Factory/Manufacturing Setup)

Reporting To: Manager – HR

Role Summary

We are looking for a disciplined and proactive Jr. Executive – Factory HR & Admin to support day-to-day HR operations, statutory compliance, employee relations, and general administration for our manufacturing plant.

JD - Jr. Executive-Factory HR Admin. 

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations

  • Manage end-to-end blue-collar contract labour and staff employee lifecycle, including sourcing, recruitment, joining, induction, attendance, leave management, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and update employee records (hard and soft copies) using HRMS and MS Excel.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, and deductions.
  • Handle grievance management and employee engagement activities for shop-floor employees.

2. Statutory Compliance (Factory Act)

  • Assist in maintaining statutory registers under the Factories Act, 1948, PF, ESIC, Bonus Act, and Contract Labour Act.
  • Support statutory inspections and liaise with local authorities, including the Assistant Factory Inspector, PF/ESIC offices, and local police administration.

3. Administration

  • Manage factory security and housekeeping services.
  • Oversee contractor worker management, including gate passes, attendance, and ID cards.
  • Maintain stock of stationery, PPEs, and general office consumables.
  • Coordinate with the plant maintenance team for admin-related civil and electrical work.

Key Requirements

Education:

  • MBA/PGDM in HR, MSW (HR), or Diploma in Labour Law (preferred).

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a Factory HR & Admin role, preferably in an engineering/manufacturing company.

Language Skills:

  • Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Skills:

  • Good knowledge of factory compliance.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage a blue-collar workforce.

Other Requirement:

  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing plant environment with a 6-day work week.
