PURCHASE OFFICER FOR ROLLING MILL - URLA, RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Sourcing and Buying: Find and purchase quality products, raw materials, or services at the best price.
- Vendor Management: Research, evaluate, and interview potential suppliers and build strong relationships.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, shipping terms, and contracts with vendors for maximum profit.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery and avoid shortages.
- Record Keeping: Prepare purchase reports, track payments, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a purchasing officer or in a similar procurement role.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to deal with suppliers and internal teams.
- Analytical Skills: Good knowledge of market research, data analysis, and financial budgeting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and standard purchasing or ERP software.
