Job Description:

Quantum Fibretech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a smart, confident and result-oriented Purchase
Executive / Sr. Purchase Executive / Asst. Manager – Purchase with strong experience in
procurement for the OFC / CATV manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in purchasing OFC/CATV raw materials
and components, strong knowledge of market prices, excellent negotiation skills and the ability
to build and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring timely
availability of materials, controlling purchase costs and supporting overall Supply Chain
Management operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities;

 Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities for OFC/CATV manufacturing
materials.
 Must have good practical experience in purchasing OFC/CATV raw materials,
components and consumables.
 Identify material requirements and ensure timely procurement as per production
schedules.
 Develop, evaluate and maintain relationships with existing suppliers/vendors.
 Identify and develop new vendors and alternate sources for raw materials and
components.
 Conduct market research to understand current material prices, market trends and
supplier capabilities.
 Maintain strong knowledge of prevailing market prices for OFC/CATV raw materials.
 Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, quality and other commercial
terms with vendors.
 Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers and ensure competitive pricing.
 Prepare Purchase Orders and coordinate with vendors for order execution.
 Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve delays or supply-related issues.
 Coordinate closely with Production, Stores, Quality, Sales and Management teams.
 Ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials for production.
 Look after and support Supply Chain Management activities.
 Monitor purchase costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Required Skills & Competencies
 Strong hands-on knowledge of OFC / CATV raw material procurement.
 Good understanding of OFC/CATV manufacturing materials and processes.
 Strong knowledge of market prices and supplier networks.
 Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to develop and maintain excellent vendor relationships.
 Ability to identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers/vendors.
 Smart, confident, proactive and commercially oriented.
 Good analytical and decision-making abilities.
 Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
 Ability to work independently in a Remote / WFH environment.
 Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
 Should be comfortable working in a startup environment with challenges and changing
