Australian Accounting Specialist - SMSF
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Australian Accounting professional with strong SMSF (Self-Managed Superannuation Fund) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Australian accounting, SMSF accounting, financial reporting, and compliance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end SMSF accounting and related accounting activities.
Prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, and supporting schedules.
Assist with SMSF compliance and annual reporting requirements.
Reconcile bank accounts, investments, contributions, and other SMSF transactions.
Work closely with the team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of deliverables.
Handle client queries and maintain proper documentation.
Requirements:
Strong experience in Australian Accounting and SMSF.
Good understanding of SMSF accounting, financial statements, and compliance processes.
Experience working with Australian accounting clients or firms.
Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, BGL, Class Super, or similar tools will be preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.
