Senior Performance Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing for cloud and serverless applications.
* Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or similar tools.
* Monitor applications running on AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions, etc.
* Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to cold starts, execution time, concurrency, scaling, and resource utilisation.
* Use AWS CloudWatch, Lambda Insights, Datadog, New Relic, or similar tools for performance monitoring.
* Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and work closely with Development and SRE teams.
* Create performance dashboards, reports, and optimisation recommendations.
* Support API, microservices, and large-scale serverless load testing.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer / IT
* 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering.
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS and serverless technologies, especially AWS Lambda.
* Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
* Strong understanding of serverless performance, scalability, concurrency, and resource optimisation.
* Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar scripting/programming languages.
* Experience with cloud infrastructure, API testing, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience in serverless performance monitoring and CI/CD integration.
