Job Description:
Job Summary
The Automobile In-Charge will be responsible for the overall management, operation, maintenance, and availability of vehicles and mobile equipment deployed at Rolling Mill-1. The role includes vehicle maintenance, driver management, documentation, fuel control, breakdown handling, safety compliance, and coordination with plant departments.5
Required Skills
- Automobile maintenance and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of diesel engines and transmission systems
- Knowledge of brakes, suspension, steering and hydraulic systems
- Preventive & breakdown maintenance
- Vehicle documentation and compliance
- Fuel and spare-parts management
- Driver/team supervision
- Vendor/workshop coordination
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to handle emergency breakdown situations
