Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, supervising and executing civil construction, maintenance and infrastructure works at the plant/site while ensuring quality, safety, cost and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise civil construction and maintenance activities.
- Prepare and review BOQ, estimates, drawings and material requirements.
- Monitor RCC, structural, foundation, flooring, drainage and road works.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants and site teams.
- Ensure construction work is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections of construction materials and workmanship.
- Monitor project progress, manpower and material utilization.
- Check measurements, contractor bills and work completion reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and construction standards.
- Identify site issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records and documentation.
- Monitor civil maintenance of plant buildings, roads, drains, foundations and other structures.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and production teams for civil requirements.
- Support project planning, execution and commissioning activities.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects within approved budget.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
Experience
- 3–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in industrial plant, steel plant, DRI plant or manufacturing projects preferred.
