Driver Recruitment and Relations Executive for logistics

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities • Actively source and recruit drivers across Rourkela and surrounding regions through personal networks, referrals, and ground-level outreach • Communicate effectively with drivers to understand their concerns, motivations, and requirements • Motivate drivers to join and stay with the organisation by presenting opportunities clearly and honestly • Act as primary point of contact between drivers and management — listening to genuine grievances and escalating to relevant stakeholders promptly • Maintain a running database of available drivers for quick deployment • Conduct regular check-ins with deployed drivers to ensure retention and satisfaction • Coordinate with site supervisors on manpower requirements and deployment gaps

Required Skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Odia and Hindi • Existing network of drivers in Rourkela and surrounding Odisha region — essential • Ability to build trust quickly with ground-level workers • Basic documentation and reporting skills • Two-wheeler preferred for field mobility
