Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Handle purchase and procurement activities for the plant.
- Source and evaluate vendors and suppliers.
- Collect and compare quotations, rates and commercial terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on deliveries.
- Negotiate price, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Stores, Maintenance, Production and Accounts.
- Procure spares, raw materials, consumables and engineering items.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documents and procurement reports.
- Monitor pending orders and ensure timely material availability.
- Develop new vendors and maintain good supplier relationships.
- Verify purchase requirements and support cost-control initiatives.
