Job Description:

Roles & Responsibility:

1. Prepare documents for obtaining RodTep and Duty Drawback for exports and EPCG for imports so that company meets all the legal requirements of doing business - related imports

and exports.

2. Prepare customs-related documents for all imports of raw materials and exports of finished product to ascertain full compliance to applicable laws; Prepare insurance documents, wherever necessary.

3. Undertake communication and follow-up with various authorities to track and ensure timely approval of licenses for company.

4. Undertake communication with various parties such as suppliers, shipment vendors, port authorities and company Marketing team to track material movement within and across borders.

5. Consult with customs agents, as and when needed, to ease passage of shipments through the borders.

6. Ensure efficient and timely packaging of material for exports, by coordinating with the Marketing Team of company.

### Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize import-export processes and ensure

compliance with relevant regulations.

- Evaluate market trends and identify opportunities to expand the company's international trade

activities.

2. Compliance and Regulation:

- Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations, including Duty Drawback, RoDTEP, Advance

Licenses, EPCG, and other trade-related policies.

- Stay updated on changes in import-export laws and communicate updates to relevant

stakeholders.

3. Documentation:

- Oversee the preparation and verification of all import-export documents, including invoices,

shipping documents, and certificates of origin.

- Ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation to customs authorities.

4. Logistics and Supply Chain Management:

- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize the movement of goods across

borders.

- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.

5. Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, customs authorities, and

other stakeholders.

6. Cost Management:

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce overall import-export

costs.

- Optimize duty drawback, RoDTEP, and other incentive schemes to maximize benefits.

### Qualifications and Skills:

1. Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

2. Experience:

- Minimum of [5-6 years] of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful export-import management.

3. Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of Duty Drawback, RoDTEP, Advance Licenses, EPCG, and other trade-related schemes.

- Strong understanding of Indian and international customs regulations and procedures.

- Proficient in import-export documentation and related software tools.

- communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

4. Certifications:

- Relevant certifications in international trade or logistics would be an advantage.
