STORE INCHARGE

Job Description:

1. Inventory & Stock Management:

• Maintain optimal levels of raw materials, consumables, MRO (spare parts), and finished goods.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification (auditing) and reconcile discrepancies with system records.

• Implement inventory control techniques (such as FIFO/LIFO) to minimize material damage or obsolescence.

2. Material Receipt & Inspection:

• Supervise the loading and unloading of incoming raw materials, machine parts, and equipment.

• Verify incoming items against purchase orders (POs), delivery challans, and invoices for correct quantity and quality.

• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department for material clearance and inspection.

3. Material Issuance & Dispatch:

• Issue raw materials and spare parts to production and maintenance teams based on approved indent slips.

• Manage outward dispatches, ensuring proper packing, vehicle loading, and documentation (e.g., e-way bills, gate passes).

4. Documentation & ERP Operations:

• Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all inward, outward, and stock movements using ERP / SAP MM software and MS Excel.

• Issue material gate passes and maintain daily logbooks.

5. Coordination & Safety:

• Collaborate closely with Purchase, Production, and Finance departments to resolve material shortages or billing discrepancies.

• Maintain clean, organized, and secure warehouse operations following 5S and plant safety guidelines.
