SHIFT INCHARGE FOR FERRO, RAIPUR CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
-
Supervise and manage shift-wise production activities in the Ferro Alloys Plant.

Monitor submerged arc furnace (SAF) operations and ensure smooth furnace performance.
-
Control furnace operating parameters, including temperature, voltage, current and power consumption.
-
Ensure proper raw material charging, melting and alloy production.
-
Achieve shift-wise production targets while maintaining product quality.
-
Allocate duties to furnace operators, supervisors, helpers and other shift staff.
-
Coordinate with the control room, electrical and mechanical maintenance teams.
-
Identify operational abnormalities and take corrective action to minimize downtime.
-
Maintain shift production reports, furnace logs, manpower records and consumption data.
-
Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, SOPs and PPE requirements.
-
Conduct shift handover and communicate production or maintenance issues to the incoming team.
