About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM / S/4HANA Material Master Specialist and Key User to support material master data management, SAP rollout activities, and first-level SAP MM support.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness of material master data across business functions including Procurement, Production, Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.

The position will also support SAP S/4HANA international rollout projects, data migration, testing, UAT, user training, post-go-live support, and continuous improvement initiatives across Asian markets including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA MM Rollout & Project Support

• Support international SAP S/4HANA MM rollout projects across Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore.
• Participate in process analysis, fit-gap workshops, template implementations, and process optimization.
• Support SAP MM testing activities, including system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist with SAP data migration, data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and mass data activities.
• Prepare and validate material master, vendor, purchasing, and related master data.
• Create and analyze SAP reports and data extracts using standard SAP reporting tools.
• Process and analyze SAP data using Microsoft Excel for operational and project requirements.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
• Support end-user training and post-go-live hypercare activities.
• Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, Supply Chain, and external SAP implementation partners.
• Collaborate directly with the headquarters and international stakeholders in Germany.
• Develop technical knowledge related to products, engineering, design, and manufacturing environments.
• Establish and develop an effective SAP MM Key User structure in collaboration with headquarters.

First-Level SAP MM Support

• Act as the primary point of contact for first-level SAP MM support for Asian subsidiaries.
• Analyze and resolve user requests, incidents, and SAP-related issues.
• Support business users with procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and material master processes.
• Manage support tickets and coordinate with second-level SAP support teams and external service providers.
• Monitor system issues and contribute to continuous process and system improvements.
• Help ensure stable end-to-end procurement and inventory management processes.
• Provide guidance on product design, engineering/construction topics, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
• Assist users in understanding product specifications, configurations, and technical requirements.

Microsoft Excel Skills

Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required for working with large datasets and SAP master data.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with relevant professional experience in SAP MM / S/4HANA combined with appropriate qualifications may also be considered.

Professional Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience working with SAP MM / SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in SAP MM projects or international SAP rollout environments.
• Experience as an SAP MM Key User or SAP support professional will be an advantage.
• Understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with Material Master Data.
• Experience in international or multicultural working environments is preferred.
• Exposure to automation or industrial/manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
• Experience with SAP reporting, data extraction, and data analysis.
