Job Responsibilities

• Provide application engineering support for clamping technology, machine tools, and workholding solutions.
• Understand customer and application requirements and recommend suitable clamping and workholding solutions.
• Prepare and review mechanical designs related to machine-tool and workholding applications.
• Create and modify designs using SolidWorks.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering materials, and mechanical components to develop practical solutions.
• Interpret and work with engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to understand technical requirements and resolve application-related issues.
• Support product selection, application development, technical discussions, and solution implementation.
• Communicate technical information clearly with customers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation related to applications and engineering solutions.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of machine tools and workholding solutions.
• Experience in clamping technology is highly relevant.
• Hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of Creo will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of engineering materials.
• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles.

Educational Qualification

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

• 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates from the manufacturing industry are preferred.
• Experience in machine tools, workholding, clamping systems, or related mechanical engineering applications will be highly relevant.

Preferred Industry / Company Background

Candidates with relevant experience from organizations associated with machine tools, cutting tools, workholding, or industrial manufacturing may be considered.
