Job Description:
Job Title: Crusher Operator / RMHS Operator

Key Responsibilities:
-
Operate and monitor primary, secondary, and tertiary industrial crushers (Jaw/Roll crushers) and associated feeding systems to process raw materials like coal, iron ore, and dolomite.

Regulate material feed rates via apron/vibrating feeders and conveyor belts to ensure continuous production flow and prevent choking or jamming of the crusher cavity.

Conduct routine pre-start and post-start inspections, checking for abnormal noise, heavy vibrations, bearing temperature spikes, and liner/hammer wear.

Coordinate immediately with the mechanical maintenance and RMHS Fitter teams during equipment breakdowns, blockages, or emergency stoppages.

Ensure proper implementation of safety protocols, including strict adherence to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures before any cleaning, clearing, or maintenance work begins.

Maintain clean housekeeping around the crusher house and operate dust suppression equipment as per plant environmental norms.
