About the Role

The Business Analyst / MIS Executive will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing and presenting business data to support management decision-making.

The role requires a strong understanding of business analytics rather than software development, with advanced hands-on expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

The candidate should be capable of developing management dashboards, business MIS reports, data cockpits, analytical presentations and visual reports, while identifying business and market trends and providing actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Data Analysis

• Collect, organize and process business data from multiple sources.
• Analyze business performance, operational data and management information.
• Identify trends, patterns, gaps and business opportunities.
• Convert raw data into meaningful business insights.
• Prepare analytical reports for management review.
• Provide data-backed recommendations to support business decisions.

2. MIS Reporting & Management Dashboards

• Develop and maintain MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Create business data dashboards and visual management cockpits using advanced Excel.
• Track KPIs, business performance and operational metrics.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports for Senior Management.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and timely reporting.
• Automate and improve recurring MIS reporting wherever possible.

3. PowerPoint & Management Presentations

• Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for Senior Management.
• Convert complex business data into easy-to-understand visual presentations.
• Develop presentations containing charts, graphs, tables, business insights and recommendations.
• Create management review decks and business performance presentations.
• Present data in a clear and structured manner for strategic discussions.

4. Market & Business Trend Analysis

• Analyze market trends and business trends.
• Monitor changes in business performance and identify significant deviations.
• Conduct comparative and trend analysis.
• Identify potential business opportunities and areas requiring management attention.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.

5. Senior Management Support

• Work directly with Senior Management and business leadership.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management meetings.
• Provide analytical support for strategic business decisions.
• Understand management requirements and convert them into meaningful reports and insights.
• Handle confidential business information professionally.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with various departments to collect and validate business information.
• Follow up with teams to ensure timely submission of MIS data.
• Consolidate information from different functions.
• Ensure reporting formats and management dashboards are maintained accurately.

Required Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel

Candidates should have expert-level Excel skills, including the ability to:

• Create advanced MIS reports
