AutoCAD Draftsman
Job Description:
Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings.
Good knowledge of machine components like shaft, pulley, bush, gear, sleeve, roller, coupling, etc.
Prepare machine GA, fabrication and assembly drawings.
Prepare plant layout, equipment layout and foundation drawings.
Prepare pipeline routing, utility and IG/UG tank drawings.
Read and understand GA, section and fabrication drawings.
Take site measurements and update drawings as per actual site conditions.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil and Project teams.
Review and modify vendor drawings.

Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings for steel structures, transmission towers, poles, or cable management frameworks.

Generate component layouts, cross-sectional views, and Bill of Materials (BOM) / Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

Coordinate with project engineers and production teams to resolve design clashes or fabrication discrepancies.

Maintain revision control, organize master CAD file libraries, and ensure adherence to relevant engineering and industrial safety standards.
