CIVIL HEAD FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR, CHHATTISGARHP

Job Description:

• Position Title: Civil Head / Head of Civil & Infrastructure

• Company: Industrial Manufacturing / Steel & Metallurgical Sector (e.g., Pankaj Ispat, Raipur / Chhattisgarh Region)

• Department: Projects & Civil Infrastructure

• Reporting To: Director / Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Vice President - Projects

• Project Management & Execution: Direct end-to-end execution of industrial civil works, including heavy machinery foundations (rolling mills, furnaces, crushers), structural steel sheds, storage yards, roads, and drainage networks.

• CapEx & Resource Planning: Formulate and manage capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets, resource allocations, and project timelines from inception to final commissioning.

• Engineering & Design Oversight: Review and approve structural designs, architectural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and soil mechanics reports in compliance with relevant IS codes.

• Contractor & Vendor Management: Lead contractor onboarding, contract negotiations, tendering, rate analysis, and monthly bill verification while managing external structural consultants.

• Quality & Safety Assurance (HSE): Enforce rigorous Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols for construction materials and implement uncompromising safety standards across all active construction zones.

• Statutory Compliance: Obtain and manage necessary environmental clearances, local body approvals, building permits, and statutory compliances related to industrial land and plant setup.
