Job Description:

• Position: Manager (Accounts) / Finance Executive

• Experience Required: 4 to 5 Years (Preferably in Steel, Rolling Mill, or Heavy Manufacturing Sector)

• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

• Industry: Steel / Iron & Basic Metals Manufacturing

• 1. Financial Accounting & Team Management

  • Oversee and manage the complete accounting operations team to ensure accurate day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and timely journal entries.

  • Review financial transactions, bank reconciliations, vendor ledgers, and customer accounts.

  2. Cost & Inventory Accounting (Manufacturing Specific)

  • Manage inventory valuation for raw materials (such as sponge iron, scrap, and coal), work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods (TMT bars, structural steel, billets).

  • Track and analyze manufacturing production costs, overheads, and plant-level expenses to ensure operational efficiency.

  3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure 100% compliance with GST filings, TDS, TCS, and corporate tax regulations.

  • Handle multi-state indirect tax nuances, e-way bill workflows, and input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation.

  • Liaise with statutory and tax auditors for smooth execution of annual audits and tax assessments.

  4. Working Capital & Banking Operations

  • Monitor cash flows, manage working capital requirements, and coordinate day-to-day banking relationships.

  • Handle documentation and operations related to credit facilities, Letter of Credit (LC), and Bank Guarantees (BG) for raw material procurement.

  5. MIS & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports, profit-and-loss statements, and cash flow forecasts for management review.

  • Assist top management in financial budgeting, variance analysis, and internal financial controls.
