  • Tender & Bid Review: Review legal clauses in corporate and government tender documents (e.g., Indian Railways / RDSO guidelines) to identify potential compliance and commercial risks before submission.
  • Post-Execution Management: Maintain a secure, centralized repository of executed agreements and track milestone obligations, amendments, or breach notices.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Corporate Liaison
  • Statutory Frameworks: Ensure company practices comply with local labor laws, environmental regulations (for factory operations), and general corporate laws.
  • Liaison & Support: Work alongside the Tender and Liaison Officers to clear legal paths for government inspections, land documentation, or regulatory audits.
  • Internal Advisory: Provide actionable legal counsel to internal teams (Finance, Procurement, HR, and Operations) regarding risk mitigation strategies.
3. Litigation & Dispute Resolution

  • Pleadings Drafting: Prepare or review legal notices, written statements, affidavits, and replies to be submitted before judicial or quasi-judicial forums.
  • External Counsel Management: Brief empaneled advocates, monitor court case progress, and coordinate documentation for active litigation.

  • Commercial Awareness: Clear understanding of industrial business trends, supply chain liabilities, and corporate risk mitigation.

  • Negotiation & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to negotiate legal clauses to safeguard company interests.
  • Communication: Ability to distill complicated legal matters into clear, actionable bullet points for non-legal corporate directors.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university (an LLM is an added advantage).
