Job Description:
A Human Resources (HR) Manager oversees the daily operations of the HR department and aligns people operations with business strategies.
Role Over
An HR Manager bridges the gap between management and employees, handling everything from talent acquisition and legal compliance to employee engagement and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead full-cycle hiring, including workforce planning, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing onboarding programs.
- Employee Relations: Mediate conflicts, handle grievances, and manage disciplinary or termination processes.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure adherence to local and national labor laws and maintain company handbooks and policies.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll coordination, salary benchmarking, and employee benefits administration.
- Performance & Training: Manage performance appraisal systems and design professional development or training initiatives.
- HR Analytics: Monitor HR metrics (like turnover and retention) to support strategic business decisions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of progressive HR experience, often including time as an HR Generalist or Specialist.
- Skills: Proficiency in HR software/HRIS, strong knowledge of employment law, and excellent conflict-resolution and communication skills.
- Certifications: Professional designations (such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or local equivalents) are preferred.
