DESING DRAWING ENGINEER FOR METAL INDUSTRY - RAIPUR, CHHATTISGARH

• Drafting & Modeling: Develop detailed 2D production drawings and 3D CAD models from conceptual sketches, engineering briefs, and client requirements. 

• Tolerancing & Specifications: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), define material specifications, surface finishes, and assembly notes. 

• Design Verification: Perform basic engineering calculations, interference/clash checks, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews. 

• Revision Management: Maintain accurate revision histories, Bill of Materials (BoM), and technical drawing archives in line with company standards. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with mechanical/civil engineers, manufacturing floor personnel, and external vendors to resolve design or fabrication issues.

• Compliance: Ensure all drawings and designs adhere to relevant national and international engineering standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, IS). 

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, UG NX, or Creo.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of GD&T, engineering drawing standards, material selection, and manufacturing/machining processes.

• Attention to Detail: Impeccable spatial awareness and precision in documentation.

• Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills for team coordination and vendor discussions.
