GENRAL MANAGER FOR STEEL INDUSTRY - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Position Title: General Manager (GM)

• Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Board of Directors, or Regional Manager

• Primary Objective: Maximize operational efficiency, boost profitability, and align daily unit functions with long-term company goals

• Operations & Strategy: Formulate and execute business strategies, oversee daily operations, and set short- and long-term performance goals.

• Financial & Budget Management: Develop and control operating budgets, monitor financial health, review financial statements, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Team Leadership & HR: Direct recruitment, hiring, training, and staff development processes; evaluate employee productivity; and resolve internal conflicts. 

• Policy & Compliance: Establish internal processes, enforce company policies, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory compliance standards. 

• Stakeholder Relations: Coordinate with department heads, report to upper management or a board of directors, and represent the organization to external partners. 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). 

• Experience: Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior executive/department leadership role.
