Job Overview

Orbit Global HR Consultants LLP, a leading recruitment and executive search consultancy in India, is hiring an experienced Assistant Sales Manager – Industrial Inspection Equipment for a reputed organization dealing in advanced industrial inspection and quality control solutions.

The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of experience in technical sales, specifically handling industrial inspection products such as Checkweighers, Metal Detectors, X-Ray Inspection Systems and other automated inspection equipment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities, managing industrial end-user accounts, coordinating with dealers and distributors, conducting product demonstrations and driving sales growth across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates with experience working with companies such as Technofour, Minebea Intec, Ishida, Anritsu, Mettler Toledo or similar industrial inspection equipment manufacturers are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently plan and manage daily sales activities across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with industrial end users.

• Visit existing and prospective customers to generate leads and increase sales.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors.

• Coordinate with channel partners for customer leads, quotations, new orders and payment follow-ups.

• Conduct detailed technical discussions with customers regarding product applications and specifications.

• Arrange and conduct product demonstrations at customer facilities.

• Coordinate product installation, commissioning and basic troubleshooting activities.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable inspection solutions.

• Prepare sales reports, maintain customer databases and regularly follow up on business opportunities.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in technical sales or industrial equipment sales.

• Direct experience in selling industrial inspection equipment is highly preferred.

• Strong product knowledge of:

  • Automatic Checkweighers

  • Industrial Metal Detectors

  • X-Ray Inspection Systems

  • Food and Pharmaceutical Inspection Equipment

• Experience in handling industrial end users and manufacturing companies.

• Good understanding of dealer and distributor management.

• Ability to conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.

• Basic knowledge of equipment installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage territory sales activities.

Salary and Benefits

• Annual CTC: ₹8 LPA to ₹12 LPA.

• Salary is flexible for candidates with strong technical and product knowledge.

• Full-time permanent employment.

• Five-day working week.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a two-wheeler.

• Valid driving licence is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel extensively within Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

• Candidates should be comfortable with regular customer visits and field sales activities.

The position can be based in either:

• Hyderabad, Telangana

• Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

The selected candidate will handle business development and customer relationships across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
