Job Description:

 Position:          Maintenance Engineer

Location:          Palej - Bharuch

Experience:       5 - 7  Years

Industries:        Packaging

Responsibilities:

• Handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of polymer knitting machines, circular knitting machines, and extrusion lines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs, PLCs, temperature controllers, heaters, sensors, electrical panels, MCCs, and PCCs.
• Manage HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, 11 KV power distribution, and DG sets.
• Coordinate with mechanical maintenance teams for extruders, gearboxes, compressors, chillers, and other equipment.
• Ensure smooth functioning of plant utilities, including air compressors, cooling towers, and chillers.
• Plan maintenance schedules and minimize machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Supervise electricians, technicians, and contract manpower and allocate daily maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists, and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, LOTO, statutory requirements, and applicable ISO standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, repairs, AMC, and spare-parts management.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and implement maintenance improvement initiatives.

 Required Skills

• Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance, VFDs, PLCs, and electrical panels.
• Understanding of HT/LT systems, transformers, and DG sets.
• Experience in extrusion and knitting machines preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Electrical

Salary: - Upto 8.00 LPA
