About the Role
Our client, a leading pharma MNC, is hiring a Python Developer for its Commercial Excellence team. You will automate recurring reports and use statistical analytics on business and sales data to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
A. Automation
- Automate Excel and routine reports using Python and VBA to reduce manual effort.
- Identify workflows that can be automated and build the solutions.
- Download files from portals using Selenium and WebDriver.
- Transfer files securely over SFTP and send automated report emails.
B. Statistical Analytics
- Analyse business and sales data to find trends and performance gaps.
- Build forecasting and predictive models.
- Prepare dashboards, management reports and insights.
Required Skills
Excel
- Formulas: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS, TRIM, LEFT, RIGHT, IF
- Pivot Tables and dashboard creation
- VBA macros for report automation
Python
- Pandas: working with large datasets using DataFrames
- NumPy: numerical calculations and data manipulation
Automation
- Selenium/WebDriver: web scraping and automated file downloads
- Paramiko and PySFTP: SFTP operations and secure file transfer
- Datetime/Timedelta: date calculations and time-based automation
- SMTPLib and MIMEText: automated emails
Machine Learning
- Scikit-learn: prediction, classification, regression and forecasting
- XGBoost: advanced forecasting and predictive models
