Job Title: Key Account Manager – IVF
Location: Visakapatnam
Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and highly empathetic Key Account Manager to champion our comprehensive IVF and reproductive health portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of our fertility solutions—spanning specialized pharmaceuticals (gonadotropins, hormones), advanced embryology medical devices, culture media, or genetic screening services. You will serve as the primary partner to corporate IVF chains, standalone fertility clinics, prominent clinicians, and embryology lab directors, ensuring our solutions optimize clinical outcomes and lab efficiencies.
Core Roles & Responsibilities
- KOL & Lab Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain deep, trust-based partnerships with Reproductive Endocrinologists, IVF Clinicians, Infertility Specialists, and Embryology Lab Directors.
- Corporate IVF Chain Management: Oversee commercial relationships with large corporate fertility networks and hospital groups, managing centralized procurement, standardisation protocols, and multi-center accounts.
- Formulary & Protocol Inclusion: Drive the inclusion of our fertility portfolio into clinical protocols and institutional formularies by presenting robust clinical data, success rates, and patient-outcome benefits.
- Scientific & Scientific-Commercial Alignment: Partner closely with Medical Affairs and Clinical Applications teams to organize scientific roundtables, CME programs, and lab workshops for embryologists and clinicians.
- Commercial & Contract Negotiation: Manage end-to-end commercial operations, including price structuring, volume-based discount agreements, and supply contracts for specialized media and therapeutics.
- Market Insights & Patient Journey Analysis: Monitor shifting demographics, emerging clinical trends, and competitive footprints in the regional fertility market to identify white-space growth opportunities.
- Ethical Standards & Compliance: Ensure all business interactions and promotional activities strictly align with pharmaceutical/medical device regulations and ethical standards specific to reproductive medicine.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business. An advanced degree in embryology, clinical science, or an MBA is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven account management or sales experience within the IVF, Gynecology, Biologics, or High-Value Diagnostics segments.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the IVF ecosystem, clinical workflows, embryology lab setups, and the emotional and clinical sensitivities of the fertility treatment journey.
- Skills: Strong consultative selling skills, commercial negotiation experience with corporate healthcare chains, and the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts into business value.
