Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to: Planning In charge

Description of Role:

• Circulate softcopy of PO as well as hard copy of PO to related stakeholders.
• Maintain record of documents issue & revision control and maintain obsolete folder.
• Plan for material of a project as well as fixtures including bought out items for procurement as per input of engineering.
• Plan the space of keep raw material/ Bill of material/ free issued material etc. with co-ordination of stores & area in charge and direct to store for unloading.
• Plan for outsourcing job work (bending, machining, lesser cutting etc.) whenever required. Arrange the vehicle in co-ordination with purchase department and prepare packing sheet / challan.
• Plan the dispatches, coordinate for vehicle and packing prepare packing sheet / SIS and co-ordination with account department.
• Monthly reconciliation of material and provide data to account department.
• Communicate the progress report to customer as well as management at regular internal (as per defined frequency).
• Raise PR for material procurement, considering the material available in stock.
• Plan for the space of raw material storage.
• Arrange test coupon for lab testing in consultation with welding engineer.
• Priority for material cutting on CNC profile cutting/ bend saw to be communicate with the engineer of preparation area.
• Collect data of oxy cutting (consumable cutting time etc.) from the production supervisor.
• Refer cutting program (nesting) for cutting.
• Co-ordination for outsourcing work, whenever required.
• Prepare work schedule for each W.O. in consultation with shop manager and review the status.
• Communicate the progress report to customer as well as management at regular interval (as per define frequency).
• Maintains hours booking according to work order wise (hours booking slip).
• Maintain record of consumable according to work order wise.
• Plan and co-ordinate for dispatch.
• Authority to take any decision to fulfill the above responsibility.
• Responsible to ensure implement of 5S & EHS at workplace.
