Data Scientist

Job Description:

Requirements:

• Overall 6+ years of work experience in relevant hands on experience handling data driven decisions
• Experience in various statistical and machine learning models, data mining, unstructured data analytics in corporate or academic research environments
• Must have strong of programming experience in R/Python
• Experience in machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as like-Classification, Regression, Ensemble Modelling, SVM, Boosting Machines, Segmentations, Clustering, time series analysis and natural language processing.
• Familiarity with relational databases and intermediate level knowledge of SQL

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience leading or collaborating with a team of data scientists in developing and delivering machine learning models that work in a production setting.
• Minimum 6+ years of Data Science experience along with practical project implementation experience of minimum 2 years.
• Proficiency in statistical and other tools/languages - R, SAS, Python, Java, Scala
• Combination of programming experience (C, C++, UNIX, Java, Linux,R, Python ).
• Exposure or knowledge in cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) or big data technologies such as Hadoop ,Hive MapReduce etc.
• Experience working with large data streaming technologies (like Spark etc. )
