Linux Administrator
Job Description:
Linux Administrator: 5 years Relevant , 6 ? 7 years of overall experience required. ? OS installation and configuration. ? Server hardening ? OS upgradation ? OS level patch management ? User management ? Application package installation. ? LVM operations. ? FTP administration through Webmin. ? File sharing with NFS/ SAMBA/ FTP ? Configure/Manage/Troubleshoot Apache Tomcat and HTTP web service ? Monitoring application server?s behaviour and JVM memory consumption and allocate right Heap/GenPerm etc. ? Coordinate with the development team for the deployment of Web service and log analysis. ? Creating and managing application cluster environments. ? Linux server hardening including WebEngine hardening. ? Linux server migration including application dependency. ? WAR file deployment. ? Troubleshoot on Bulk email related issue on SMTP relay hosts(Sendmail/Postfix). ? Prepare the scripts based on the requirements like the WAR file Auto-deployment on multiple devices, JVM heap utilization monitor and auto action, application service monitor and auto fix if service fails, etc. ? SAMBA Active Directory Management
