Job Description:
A Head of IT (SAP Must) leads the organization's SAP strategy, overseeing implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD) to drive business efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing SAP teams, vendors, and 24x7 support, while aligning IT infrastructure with business goals, security policies, and digital initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Strategy & Implementation: Drive end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., to SAP S/4HANA).
- SAP Center of Excellence (CoE): Oversee SAP applications, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement of functional and technical teams.
- Process Optimization: Map business processes in SAP, eliminating manual efforts through automation, Fiori, and Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor SAP functional consultants, developers, and analysts.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Manage SAP vendors, consultants, and project costs, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Compliance & Security: Maintain IT policies, ensure data security, and manage internal/external audits.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5-10+ years in SAP management, preferably with experience in large-scale industry environments.
- SAP Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO, PP) and technical competence in ABAP/Fiori.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (Master’s/SAP certification is a plus).
