Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced IT Head with strong SAP expertise to lead the technology function for our steel manufacturing operations in Raipur. The role involves implementing and managing SAP systems, driving digital transformation, and ensuring robust IT infrastructure to support large-scale steel plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrades, and integration (preferably SAP S/4 HANA) for critical steel plant operations.

• Manage core SAP modules: MM, SD, FICO, PP, PM, HCM, and QM aligned with steel industry workflows.

• Oversee IT infrastructure including datacenters, plant connectivity, OT-IT integration, and cybersecurity.

• Ensure seamless IT & SAP support for 24x7 plant operations (procurement, production planning, dispatch, logistics, finance).

• Collaborate with production, supply chain, and finance teams to streamline SAP-driven processes.

• Drive automation & digital initiatives like MES/SCADA integration, IoT, and Industry 4.0 solutions.

• Implement IT policies, audits, and compliance with steel industry standards.

• Manage IT budgets, optimize costs, and supervise external vendors & SAP consultants.

• Build, guide, and mentor the IT & SAP support team at the Raipur facility.

Requirements

• Education: B.Tech / MCA / MBA (IT) or equivalent.

• Experience: 12–20 years in IT, with at least 8 years in SAP ERP leadership roles in steel or heavy manufacturing industry.

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, BASIS, ABAP, FICO, MM, SD, PP, and PM modules.

• Proven track record in managing large-scale IT operations in steel plants.

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and integration of OT systems (SCADA/PLC/MES) with SAP.

• Leadership, decision-making, and vendor management skills.

Preferred Skills

• SAP certification in FICO / MM / SD / PP / PM.

• Exposure to digital transformation in steel manufacturing (Industry 4.0, IoT, RPA).

• Ability to manage high-pressure plant environments with 24x7 IT/SAP support.
