SUPERVISOR-ROLLING MILL

Job Description:

Responsible for supervise of production planning for in-house manufacturing.
Ensuring proper Planning & execution of complete sampling activity.
Optimum utilization of man & machine , material etc.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal suppliers and customers for ensuring that required inputs are available on time.
Provide forecasts and demand profiles to major suppliers
Work with supervisoring, Production, Store and Procurement to ensure uniform loading of production capacities.
Responsible for Production Planning on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Ensure optimum utilization of the resources viz. man, material, machine etc.Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in grinding, turning, and shot blasting mill rolls to specified surface finish. Schedules shop operations and daily workloads, considering such factors as mill rolling schedules, amount of turning, grinding, and shot blasting required to dress and assemble rolls & guides, and available workers. Prepares production and progress reports. Keeps production and time records. Requisitions materials and supplies
