Job Description:
A Mechanical/Maintenance Manager oversees the upkeep and repair of a company's mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery. They ensure all mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently, plan maintenance schedules, manage maintenance staff, and coordinate repairs and parts procurement. Their role is crucial for minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning and Execution:Develops and implements maintenance strategies, including preventative maintenance schedules, to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Supervision and Management:Leads and supervises a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Budget Management:Manages the maintenance budget, tracks expenses, and ensures cost-effective maintenance practices.

Equipment Management:Monitors equipment performance, identifies potential issues, and coordinates necessary repairs or replacements.

Safety Compliance:Ensures all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.

Inventory Management:Manages spare parts inventory and coordinates the procurement of necessary tools and materials.

Communication:Regularly communicates with upper management regarding maintenance issues and performance.

Vendor Management:Coordinates with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of various machinery and equipment.
