Digital Product Analyst

Key Responsibilities

·  Evaluate base Search appliance configurations and assess their implications on search results

·  Design and apply new configurations

·  Identify opportunities to improve search results based on Alight clients’ needs

·  Identify and deploy best practices on an ongoing basis

·  Consult and provide strategy directions on topics such as Federated search

·  Have aptitude to understand, communicate and follow up with stakeholders

·  Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

·  Capture and document processes

·  Submit Maestro or JIRA requests and follow up with stakeholders

Qualifications

·  BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Business operations, Computer Science or related experience.

·  3+  years in a technology role, product management experience preferred

·  Java coding experience required

·  Experience with search engines such as Apache Lucene, SOLR, Elasticsearch

·  Tools such as Maven/Gradle

·  Experience with natural language processing, data science and intuition about how to work with text algorithmically.

·  Basic web development experience preferred

·  Knowledge of Python, R or other common languages is a plus

·  Strong teamwork skills along with the ability to work virtually and independently as required.

·  Strong troubleshooting skills with pro-active approach and willingness to take accountability and make decisions within the assigned scope

·  Must be able to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to issues.

·  Must adapt to rapidly changing technologies and processes.

·  Enhanced PC knowledge and skill sets utilizing Microsoft products.

·  English Advanced is mandatory
