Business Analyst (Technical)- Mumbai
Job Description:
We are having an urgent opening for the position of Business Analyst (Technical) for a reputed company.
Business Analyst:
We are looking for a Business Analyst in the BFSI domain (specifically with Supply Chain Financing), who will be the link between our technology unit and business unit by building, supporting, and ensuring an end to end product development which includes understanding user requirements, creating documentation, conceptualizing the product, creating prototypes, testing and deployment. Should be familiar with cloud applications, front-end and back-end technologies, and mobile application development.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with users, gather user requirements, understand business impact and formulate execution plan with the team
- Prepare system specifications and business requirement documents.
- Define sprint backlog, maintain Sprint plans, and monitor Sprint throughput
- Help design, build, document, and maintain system processes
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team
- Communicate key insights and findings to the product team and top management
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve the system, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer
- Own and develop relationships with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration
Requirements
- Previous experience in Business analytics is a MUST.
- Domain expertise in BFSI domain (more specifically Supply Chain Financing, dynamic discounting)
- A good understanding of Agile is a MUST
- Should understand Cloud technologies, product development cycle, front end and back end technologies, and mobile development processes.
- Have sound knowledge about scalable database technologies like a relational database
- Engineering degree from a top tier institute
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools. Hands-on experience with project management tools, Viso, etc will be a plus. Prior experience with any Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing products.
- Good experience in writing SQL queries
- Excellent knowledge in generating process documentation
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
- Keen to learn about new technologies and business innovations across the industry
- Keen to work in a dynamic fast-paced startup environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field required
- Post Graduate in Computer Science or any related field would be a plus
