Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Team is looking for a passionate SDET Engineer III QA (Software Development Engineer in Test.), with Strong technical competency, extensive programming and hands on experience with .net/java applications, Unit Testing, API testing tools , performance Testing tools and RDBMS is a must, exposure to Code Coverage tools , Power-shell scripting is good advantage. Should have Deployment exposure of applications in large enterprise environments on AWS. 

Candidate will have to work in an environment comprising of cloud technologies (AWS) Microservice-oriented architecture and Angular UI and on both Windows/Linux environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• In this role, he/she will be required to provide technical leadership to the QA team and guide junior members and serve as a key cross functional coordinator within R&D/Solutions and cross functional teams which are distributed.
• Should be able to understand the requirements, Design efficient Test Strategy, Review and enhance the Automation Suite supporting Web Application, API Testing and Desktop applications
• Ensure that testing activities comprehensively validate applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, satisfy end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
• Understand the automation framework in Java, selenium, UI, API testing and develop & maintain effective acceptance, integration and regression test cases that fully test the requirements and automate them.
• Should have the ability to work in a product that’s part of a suite of products, understand the integration points, challenges, come up with solutions to fix the gaps.
• Able to identify gaps, come up with ideas to improve efficiency and do PoC’s which would help the team to improve quality and efficiency
• Gather status from Team, communicate test progress, automation test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
• Analyse test results to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
• Should be a self-starter with a passion for problem solving in a fast-paced dynamic Agile software environment and provide solutions to technical day to day problems.

Required Skills and preferred Skills

• Bachelor or Master’s in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 5-8 years of hands on experience as an automation/SDET engineer and contributed to manual and automation, performance, API and application deployment.

• Strong knowledge in Java/Selenium and/or white-box and Test Automation and should be able to do Code reviews in Java/C#

• Significant exposure on UI and API automation in .net/REST/WinappDriver, and able to automate Web/desktop application, scripting using power-shell/batch/bash and should be able to actively contribute to automation within sprints.
• Strong knowledge on Database testing -- SQL, Oracle, etc.

• Significant exposure to for Functional testing and/or Performance, Scalability, and testing using JMeter, Load Runner,

• Should have basic experience working on Unit testing tools and Code/Test coverage tools in .net/java platforms. (ncover/jacoco)
• Should have exposure to troubleshooting tools like firebug/Wireshark.
• Work directly with development leads to assess the testing & automation strategy for features under test, and collaborate with internal teams and bridge the gaps with effective communication.
• Should have worked on Continuous Integration tools like jenkins/maven (CICD),
• Excellent troubleshooting skills on complex application and deployment issues in .net/java/Microservices/jmeter/network/IIS/AWS.
• Should be able to work on AWS and Microservice environments, configure it, troubleshoot issues.

Desired Skills

• Exposure to health care applications like Electronic health record (EH R), practice management (PM) or Portal applications
