Project Manager

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating IT projects across the company . In order to do this successfully, this person should feel comfortable handling multiple tasks at a time. 

Responsibilities

• Create & manage project plans
• Act as technology consultant to the end client
• Suggest clients on technology architecture set up for respective projects
• Manage customer expectations especially during fire-fighting situations
• Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies of project management as per the project needs.
• Define project scope, schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress
• Deliver and install technology solutions
• Monitor delivery and quality to customer/stakeholders
• Identify and resolve issues and risk.
• Report on project progress, offer viable solutions and opportunities as they arise
• Help project team with the design and development tasks
• Lead meetings and set expectations for project team
• Document all estimates, project statuses, and project completion paperwork
• Lead process of issue identification and resolution
• Manage risk tracking process
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Implement software life-cycle methodology
• Coordinate roll-out of beta and production releases
• Inspect projects for quality assurance
• Work with technology architecture team to brainstorm new test ideas for technical projects.

Qualifications

• BE ( IT/Computers) /ME /BTech or MTech + MBA
• Minimum 5 years experience in Information technology organisation.
• Minimum 3 years experience in project management
• Experience in banking projects will be preferred.
• Prior experience in Agile project management will be preferred
• Prior experience of working in an IT organisation will be preferred.
