Account Executive (SEO)

Overview of Company

Our Client works mainly with Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) companies to grow their traffic

and revenue through SEO and PPC Campaigns.

About the Account Executive Role

The full-cycle Account Executive role is responsible for turning inbound and outbound leads into

long-last relationships. The Account Executive needs to have previous experience selling SEO

services and a working knowledge of SEO and Digital Marketing. Below is a breakdown of the

Account Executive Role.

Lead Generation (25%)

While we have a decent flow of inbound leads and an SDR to generate outbound leads, the

Account Executive will also be partly responsible for generating his/her own leads. The

expectation is to spend about 2 hours (about 70) dials making outbound calls using our

CRM/day.

Nurturing New Leads/Pitch Cals (25%)

We are expecting between 1 to 2 Pitches scheduled everyday from both inbound and outbound

leads. Each Pitch takes about 45 minutes to an hour including following up with next steps. This

time is also spent working with our team to create the SEO Proposals and learning about the

client before the call.

Nurturing Existing Leads & Customers (25%)

Reach out for next steps, following up on leads, social selling, and doing other things to be front

and center with the client.

Strategy (10%)

Analyzing results of past campaigns and tweaking future outreach campaigns and approaches.

Coordination & Administrative(15%)

Updating templates, the CRM, coordinating with the team as required

(creating pitch decks, keeping the CRM updated etc) and will allow you to focus on what you

like doing best: being in front of customers!

Requirements for the Account Executive Role

  • 2 to 5 years experience selling with Digital Marketing Services
  • Ability to conduct “Mini-Closes” in Succession
  • Genuine customer empathy
  • Organized and strong time management skills
  • Experience working with Ahrefs and doing basic SEO Analysis for client sites

While SaaS is our main focus and clientele, we off-course do work with clients from all

industries. Our marketing efforts are focused on SaaS; with that said, we also take on other

clients.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Follow-up with warm leads that are generated by our marketing team for SEO, Web

Design, and Application Development Services.

  • Nurture leads into Deals by creating proposals and efforts estimations and presenting

design proofs*

  • Close Deals
  • Perform the necessary Knowledge Transfer to the Delivery Team
